Founded in the year 2005 by a group of enthusiastic three sisters, Vakiria first came out with a name ‘Computerised Embroidery’. The name ‘Computerised Embroidery’ has been given at first because of our achievement as the first brand in Mizoram to computerised embroidery apparels. It was later renamed with the present name ‘Vakiria’ due to our extension in the field of fashion industry and is now acknowledged as the crème de la crème in the Mizoram Fashion House industry.Vakiria, with our hard work and dedication of our employee we make progress by and by. In addition to the embroidery work, we, Vakiria came out with bridal fashion designing in the same year of our establishment which results with a huge success followed by designer clothing for women’s. Vakiria Institute of Fashion Technology (VIFT), which now becomes the leading fashion institute in the state, was founded in the year 2010 under the banner of Vakiria. Vakiria, at the very same year of fashion institute establishment founded ‘Vakiria Handloom Section’ which produces a variety of Mizo traditional handloom and has been quite up to the mark.
Vakiria, with aim of becoming one of the most successful brands in the North Eastern States doesn’t simply rest on their laurels. The next step has been taken to come out with an online marketing. Which thus makes us the first brand in Mizoram to sell our work and design online.
