PUBLIC NOTICE BY ONE MAN ENQUIRY COMMITTEE
ON DEATHS OF TWO MIZO YOUTHS
The Government of Assam vide Notification No.PLA.25/2016/ 24 dated 29/05/2017 constituted a One Man Enquiry Committee headed by Shri Ajay Tewari, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Assam, Higher Education Department to enquire into the circumstances leading to the death of two youths of Mizo origin (C. Lalhmangaihsanga & R. Lalmalsawma), both students of Down Town University, Guwahati, Assam near Railway track of Panikhaiti Out Post on 28.05.2017. The Enquiry Committee hereby calls upon members of the public, especially individual witnesses, representatives of organisations or associations or group etc, to appear before it at the venue on the date and time given below for verbal or written submission of any information or evidence relating to the incident.
