AIZAWL, May 6: Mizoram State
BJP today hailed the new Chief Executive
Member of Chakma Autonomous
District Council (CADC) Shanti Jiban
Chakma’s humble roots, likening him
with Prime Minister Narendra Modi
and President Ram Nath Govind.
“Just as Prime Minister Narendra
Modi rose from being a chaiwalla to
Prime Minister, and President Ram
Nath Govind from mud house to Rashtrapati
Bhavan, Shanti Jiban Chakma
has attained the highest office in the
CADC from a humble house,” State
BJP said on Facebook post.
“BJP assures Indians that the lowest
man in the society can attain the highest office and that is the success of
democracy. Now, the poorest section
in the society can raise a voice in the
Council which we hope would be followed
consecutively in the Legislative
Assembly,” the BJP said.
BJP stands for the lowest section of
the society thereby enforcing the
Democratic Republic. Let us all be
aware that India will remain a Secular,
Democratic Republic under the leadership
of Narendra Modi, BJP said.
