Jobs in Mizoram Institute of Medical Education & Research (MIMER)

Terms and Conditions of service Nature of Appointment: 

i) The post of Professors, Associate Professors will be on ontract Basis with fixed remuneration initially for one year which is extendable on the basis of satisfactory performances. 
ii) The post of Assistant Professors will be will be on regular basis with all permissible as applicable under the Government of Mizoram r on Contract Basis with fixed remuneration. 
iii) The post of Demonstrators will be on regular basis with all permissible allowances as applicable under the Government of Mizoram. 
iv) The post of Senior Resident will be on regular basis with all permissible allowances as applicable under the Government of Mizoram up to the attainment of 40 years of Age by the incumbent (As per the Medical Council of India Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998 as amended from time to time). 
v) The post of Junior Resident will be on ontract Basis with fixed remuneration initially for one year which is extendable on the basis of satisfactory performances. 
vi) The Department has the authority to reject incomplete applications without assigning any reason thereof. 
vii)The Department will not be responsible for any non receipt of application.





Remuneration: 

i. Professors :Rs. 2, 50,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits. 
ii. Associate Professors: Rs. 2,20,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits. 
iii (a) Assistant Professors:Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Rs 7000/- AGP + 25% NPA with all permissible allowances. OR (b)On Contract Basis @Rs. 1,80,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits.
iv. Senior Resident:Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Rs 6000/- AGP + 25% NPA with all permissible allowances. 
v. Demonstrators:Rs. 15,600 - 39,100 + Rs 5400/- GP + 25% NPA with all permissible allowances. 
vi. Junior Resident : Rs. 65,000/- (fixed) without any extra allowances or pensionary benefits.

 For all above posts, the qualifications prescribed in the Medical Council of India “Minimum Qualification for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998” of the MCI as amended from time to time will be applicable for determining the eligibility of the candidates.(Amendment upto 8th June 2017)





Relevant Documents Required to be submitted 

1) Recent passport size photo. 
2) Proof of ID – Aadhar/Voters ID/PAN Card. 
3) Relevant educational marksheets and certificates. 
4) Experience Certificate, if any. 
5) Registration of MBBS and PG degree (if applicable). 

Personal Interview: Date,time and venue of personal Interview shall be intimated for eligible candidates later on. 

Candidates should bring their Original Certificates and Documents etc at the time of Interview.
