The roads across the State are in dilapidated conditions. The Congress Government that has been in power for the last 10 years, has made lame excuses. But, focusing on the Aizawl-Champhai road alone has shown the negligence on the part of the Congress government, T J Lalnuntluanga, secretary, MNF vigilance department told a press conference here today.
Seling-Champhai road, which is a part of AizawlChamphai road, was declared National Highway No 6 by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MoRTH) on March 2014, and accordingly, the Border Roads Organisation entrusted the road to the State PWD the following year.
