MFM School of NursingMFM School of Nursing: MFM School of Nursing was established in the year during 2009 with approval from the Indian Nursing Council and Mizoram Nursing Council with an intake capacity of 20 seats per batch. The duration of Training is for 2 years. Our students are provided with an up to date skill and knowledge on medical fields and are well equipped with professional expertise to meet the changing demand of the society.

Health worker plays an important role in rendering primary healthcare services in the rural areas even in the absence of health care facility with the other health team members. The health worker are the grassroot health care provider, this makes their services very important especially in rural health.


LAITHANGPUII COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

MFM opened the first ever Diploma in Pharmacy course in Mizoram since 2014 with the permission to admit 60 students per year. The College is affiliated to State Council for Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India.

Pharmacists play a vital role in the health care system in dispensing medicines and provide up to date information on various drugs. The Institution is doing a research and study programme on medicinal plants and food items for the safety and improvement of health standard of the people.

Students not only from Mizoram but also from other states are encouraged. It is believed to make a huge impact in Pharmaceutical profession in Northeast India. The institution is well equipped with laboratory equipment with allopathy and homeopathy with the help of medicinal plantation in our own nursery.



MFM MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMME

Recognising that mental illness constitute a vulnerable section of society and are subject to discriminate in our society, families bear disproportionate financial, physical, mental, emotional, and social burden of providing treatment and care for their relatives with mental illness, person with mental illness should be treated like other persons with health problems and the environment around them should be made conducive to facilitate recovery rehabilitation and full participation in society.

Under the National Mental Health Mission, Govt. of India we had a Target Intervention Project in Champhai District covering 125,370 population. This Target Intervention project provides counseling, toll free, awareness campaign Free clinic and training program.

Mission Foundation Movement (MFM) was established on 2004, a Non-profit organisation dedicated to accelerating Skill development of youth, Community health, Paramedical Institution and Community development irrespective of tribes, caste, creed, ethnicity or religion.

MFM is registered under the Mizoram Societies Registration Act, 1960 (Extension to Mizoram Act No.3 of 1977) on 22th December, 2004. The registration number is 44 of 2004, Dt 22.12.2004.

MFM also registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, 1976 and the registration number is 304330054 All donations sent to MFM are exempted under section 80 (G) of the IT Act of 1961. Regd No. CIT(E)10E/286/15-16/G-0197/3101-03. Dt 30.11.2015 valid from 2015 onwards.
