and Altenative Learning System (ALS)A MoU is signed between the Mizoram Youth Commission (MYC) and Altenative Learning System (ALS), Delhi to start an online coaching for 180 candidates (IAS) and 400 candidates from HSSLC (Science) (IIT-JEE/NEET) on 31 May.

Joseph Lalhimpuia Chairman #MYC said the hope that comes with signing of the MoU is that, it would prove successful for youth and students of the state to get through UPSC Civil Service Examination and Engineer & Medical Entrance Test without seeking the help from outside the state.

Joseph Lalhimpuia advised the youth and students to make use of the opportunity provided by the government.


Prateek Bhattacharya, National Sales Head, ALS said that to show their loyalty towards the agreement, through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), it would immediately provide Scholarship to candidates- Rs 33.04 lakh for 200 students joining the Online Coaching, Rs. 24.78 lakh for top 100 who have cleared their IAS Scholarship Examination and Rs. 8.26 lakh for IIT-JEE/NEET Coaching.

Apart from Scholarship, concession is made for 80 candidates from IAS coaching and 300 candidates from IIT-JEE/NEET, it said.

The online coaching will be opened at Aizawl (Northern Mizoram Zone Centre) and Lunglei (Southern Mizoram Zone Centre).

The session will start by July.
