SSC CHSL Exam 2019SSC CHSL Exam 2019 : The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. The details of the examination are as under:

Vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time (https://ssc.nic.in- >Candidate‟s Corner-> Tentative Vacancy). 

The Commission makes selection of candidates in pursuant to the vacancies reported by the concerned User Departments for various posts. The Commission does not have any role in deciding the number of vacancies of any User Department. Implementation of reservation policy, maintaining reservation roster and earmarking of vacancies for different categories comes under the domain of the User Departments.

Last date for receipt of application: 05.04.2019 (up to 5.00 P.M.) 
Last date for making online fee payment: 07.04.2019 (5.00 PM) 
Last date for generation of offline Challan: 07.04.2019 (5.00 PM)

Date of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): 01-07-2019 to 26-07-2019

Pay Scale: 
1.1 Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 1900 (pre-revised). 
1.2 Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA): Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised). 
1.3 Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised) and 
1.4 Data Entry Operator, Grade „A‟: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay: Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)

Age limit for the posts is 18-27 years as on 01-08-2019 (i.e. Candidates born not before 02-08-1992 and not later than 01-08-2001). Permissible relaxation in Upper age limit for different categories as per existing law.



Application Fee: 
Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only).  Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee. 

Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 07-04-2019 (5.00 PM). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 09-04-2019 provided the challan has been generated by them before 07-04-2019 (5.00 PM). 

Applications received without the prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. No representation against such rejection will be entertained. Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection. 

Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure that their fee has been deposited with SSC. If the fee is not received by SSC, status of Application Form is shown as „Incomplete‟ and this information is printed on the top of the Application Form printout. Further, status of fee payment can be verified at the „Payment Status” link provided in the candidate‟s login screen. Such applications which remain incomplete due 10 to non-receipt of fee will be SUMMARILY REJECTED and no request for consideration of such applications and fee payment after the period specified in the Notice of Examination shall be entertained.

Educational Qualifications (As on 01-08-2019): 

For LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. 

For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

How to apply: 
Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. For detailed instructions, please refer to Annexure-I and Annexure-II of this Notice. Last date for submission of online applications is 05-04-2019 (5.00 PM). 

Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/ inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

How To Apply SSC CHSL Exam 2019

Step 1: Click on the official link which is provided on this page.

Step 2: Click on link of Apply Link given on the page. The registration link will open up in the new window.

Step 3: Click on New Registration in SSC CHSL 2019 application window and then click on the register button.

Step 4: Firstly, candidates need to provide basic details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your completed online registration form of SSC CSHL 2019. Verify your details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued Registration ID for SSC CHSL 2019 exam.

Candidates are supposed to login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth and password to complete registration for SSC CHSL 2019.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates must upload photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned by SSC.

Photograph - The photograph must be clicked in front of white colour or light coloured background and must be more than 4 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The photograph resolution must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.


Signature - The signature must be in black or blue ink on white sheet. The scanned copy of signature must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb in size and less than 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to fill up the Part-II of the application form of SSC CHSL 2019.

Step 8: After filling up the application form, candidates need to preview the entire application form of SSC CHSL 2019 once to look for any glitches in the form. Verify the entire data entered by you.

Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the entire online SSC CHSL application form.
