Mizoram State Climate Change Cell & Mizoram Science,Technology and Innovation Council(MISTIC) in collaboration with DC office, Siaha Organized an AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON THE SCIENCE OF CLIMATE CHANGE IN MIZORAM at DRDA conference Hall,here at Siaha, Today.
Shri. Bhupesh Chaudhary IAS, Deputy Commissioner attended the function and delivered welcome Speech.In his welcome speech, he reiterated the importance of making people aware of climate change , its devastating impact on nature and which consequencely lead to man-made calamities and disasters around the Globe.
Dr RK. Lallianthanga, Chief Scientific Officer & Member Secretary, MISTIC, Directorate of Science & Technology, Government of Mizoram delivered Keynote address on Climate change.
Smt.H. Laldinpuii, Project Scientist, MISTIC gave a Power Point Presentation on Global Climate change and its impact , what preventive measures can be taken by individual and society to avoid or mitigate this man-triggered climate change.
Shri. Lalthanpuia, Scientist-B, MISTIC gave a power point presentation on Climate change in Mizoram and its devastating impacts on our enviroments and our daily life, how to prevent,tackle and mitigate this climate change triggered calamities and disasters.
