Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 32 Programme Officer, Assistant, Stenographer & LDC posts at ICCR Headquarters and its 19 Regional Offices including Guwahati.

1. Programme Officer
No of posts: 8

Educational Qualification:
a) Degree from recognized University
b) 7 years experience of dealing with cultural activities, organizing festivals and exhibitions/ international relations/ personnel, administrative/ financial matters etc. in Government departments/ autonomous bodies/ Universities/ recognized Research Institutions/ Public Undertakings/ NGOs.

Desirable: Anyone or more of the following qualifications:- 
a) Post graduate degree in English literature or any other Indian language, 
b) Post graduate diploma in International Relations. 
c) Diploma in tourism and Indian heritage/ Indian culture/ Museology 
d) Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language 
e) Certificate course from recognized university/ institute in computer application

2. Assistant Programme Officer
No of posts: 10

Educational Qualification:
a) Degree from recognized University
b) 5 years experience of dealing with cultural activities, organizing festivals and exhibitions/ international relations/ personnel, administrative/ financial matters etc. in Government departments/ Autonomous bodies/ Universities/ recognized Research Institutions/ Public Undertakings/ NGOs.

Desirable: Anyone or more of the following qualifications:- 
a) Post graduate degree in English literature or any other Indian language, 
b) Post graduate diploma in International Relations. 
c) Diploma in tourism and Indian heritage/ Indian culture/ Museology 
d) Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language

3. Assistant
No of posts: 7

Educational Qualification: Degree from recognized University.

Desirable: 
a) Diploma/ Certificate in Travel and Tourism from a recognized institution. 
b) Knowledge of financial/ Service rules/ Indian history/ heritage/ culture. 
c) 3 years experience of dealing with cultural activities, organizing festivals and exhibitions/ international relations/ personnel, administrative / financial matters etc. in Government departments/ autonomous bodies/ Universities/ recognized Research Institutions/ Public Undertakings/ NGOs etc. d) Certificate course from recognized university/ institute in computer application.

4. Sr. Stenographer
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification:
a) Degree from a recognized University.
b) Skill Test Norms
Dictation: 10 mts @ 100 w.p.m.
Transcription: 60 mts (English), 75 mts (Hindi), only on computer.
c) Diploma/ certificate course from recognized University/ Institute in Computer application

5. Jr. Stenographer
No of posts: 2

Educational Qualification:
a) 12th pass from a recognized Board or University.
b) Skill Test Norms
Dictation: 10 mts @ 80 w.p.m.
Transcription: 50 mts (English), 65 mts (Hindi), only on computer.
c) Diploma Certificate Course from recognized University/Institute in computer application

6. LDC
No of posts: 3

Educational Qualification:
a) 12th class or equivalent from recognized Board/ University
b) Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m.in Hindi, on computer.

Application Fee: 

- Select Credit card / Debit card / Net Banking for online payment.
- If successful, a confirmation Email Id and SMS will be sent.

General / OBC: Rs 500/-
SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women/ ESM: Rs 250/-

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION:
  • Basic Registration does not mean the candidate has successfully submitted the Application Form.
  • Please note that fields marked with asterisk (*) are mandatory.
  • After the 'Basic Registration' i.e. after the candidate clicks on 'Submit' button in the Basic Registration Page, system will generate and display the USER ID, which will also be communicated to the candidate by E-Mail and SMS.
  • For subsequent login, use this system-generated 'Login ID' and password. Upon first login, candidate will mandatorily have to change the password
  • Under Registration', candidate will have to fill up additional details such as Address for Correspondence, Educational Details, Preferred Choice of Exam Cities, etc., upload of photo and signature and payment of Application Fees.
  • After successful online payment of Application Fee, Application Form will be generated. Candidates are requested to download the same for future reference.
  • Once the application is submitted no changes can be made, therefore, candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully and fill-up the form.
  • Request for Change of Category / Entrance Exam Centers after submission of Application shall not be entertained / considered under any circumstances.
  • A given City or Test Centre may have one or more Test Venues depending on the number of candidates opting for the City.
  • The ICCR however reserves the right to add any additional centers depending on the number of candidates. Similarly, ICCR can withdraw any identified centre in case of poor or insufficient response. In case of such withdrawal, the candidates will be allotted at nearby center.
