The Indian School Psychology Association (InSPA) alongwith the Directorate of School Education, Mizoram had jointly organised a 4-day 'International Online Workshop on School Psychology: Mental Health and Learning disability' for Elementary School Teachers from 20th - 23 rd October, 2020.
Inaugurating the Online Workshop, School Education Director Pu James Lalrinchhana in his speech thanked InSPA and the organising committee for coming up with the online workshop on relevant topics in the current global pandemic situation. He also mentioned that this was the third time School Education department had collaborated with inSPA in conducting workshops and that InSPA has awarded the 'InSPA Educational Excellence Award, 2020' to the Department and the 'PA Sharma Best School Psychology Trainer Award, 2020 to Dr. Rinpari Ralte, State Convener.

Besides Dr. Panch. Ramalingam, President, InSPA & Asia Pacific School Psychology, Malaysia, other experts on the subject of School Psychology who participated in the online workshop were :

1) Prof. B. Mukhopadhyay, Chennai
2) Prof. VSR Vijayakumar, Consultant Psychologist, Chennai
3) Dr. Lalitha Subramanian, School Psychologist, USA
4) Prof. Zokàitluangi, MZU
5) Prof. Lalfamkima Varte, MZU te an ni.

The 4-day Online Workshop was the first to be conducted for Elementary Level Heads of schools and teachers in the Primary and Middle Schools in the state. Altogether more than 800 of them eagerly took part in the online workshop, which came to a close today. DIPR
